The film is an action-based socio fantasy made with a whopping budget of about 45 crore making it the highest budget film ever in the history of Telugu cinema.
‘Shakthi’ has Andala Khazana Ileana in the female lead and Manjari Fadnis in a key role. It is directed by Mehar Ramesh and produced by C Aswini Dutt under the Vyjayanthi Films banner.
Film release is expected on 30th of March.

Asin returns to Tollywood!!
After the success of 'Kavalan', Asin is moving to Bollywood once again with the 'Housefull' sequel. She also has 'Ready' with Salman Khan which is to release in May this year.
It is in the middle of all this that we have received rumours about her return to Tollywood. Asin's chemistry with Venkatesh in 'Gharshana' was the highlight of the movie. The latest buzz is that Asin is likely to pair up with him again in 'Savitri'.
Nayantara was supposed to be a part of the movie but she rejected the offer due to personal reasons.
Rajinikanth romancing with Rekha, Vidya and Deepika!
The film will have the south mega star playing three roles and obviously there will be three leading ladies opposite him. From the day the project was announced, speculation has been rife as to who will bag the coveted parts.
Rekha was the first to be named. Deepika Padukone was too busy to commit to the project initially, but walked out of Housefull sequel to take out dates for Rajinikanth. For the third lady, several names were being touted, including the likes of Katrina Kaif and Asin.
But guess what? It’s Vidya Balan who’s learnt to have clinched the role.
The reason for the choice of actresses could be that all three are originally from the south and therefore will have no problem with dialogues.
The movie, to be directed by KS Ravi Kumar, will apparently have Rajini playing an old man, a middle-aged man, and a young man.

Kangana Ranaut refused to wear the bikini?: Kangana Ranaut was game to don a bikini for a scene in director David Dhawan’s comedy film Rascals, but backed out at the last minute.
The shoot was being done in Thailand last week and the male co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgan were ready for the scene in which Kangana was to emerge from the sea in nothing more than a sexy bikini. Reportedly, Dhawan had discussed the scene with Kangana before and she had not just given her nod but also shopped for the bikini.
